Manufacturing Set-up Technician Apprenticeship

Employer: Felton Manufacturing, Londonderry NH

Length of Apprenticeship: Approximately two and a half years, including 2,700 hours of on-the-job training plus 304 hours of classroom instruction time at Manchester Community College (MCC). All classes successfully completed will result in college credit which can be applied towards a certificate or degree.

Position & Program Summary: Set-up Technician is an individual that has the technical inclination and ability to work collaboratively to solve problems.  This individual will set up, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery or equipment, using any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies to repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment and make necessary improvements, when needed.

Participants in the program are full-time Felton employees from the start of the program and are eligible for full benefits including healthcare, vacation, 401(k), and ESPO.  MCC tuition is 100% funded by Felton.

Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour to start, with guaranteed pay increases over the course of the apprenticeship.   At the completion of the program apprentices will make $19.00 per hour.
