Employer: Numerous healthcare companies in the Greater Manchester-area will be launching Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) apprenticeship programs in summer and fall of 2019.
Length of Apprenticeship: one year, including 5 weeks of classroom instruction at Manchester Community College. The training program will prepare candidates to practice as nursing assistants in a full-time position, providing direct patient care in a hospital or long-term care facility. Completion of the apprenticeship earns participants a National Occupational Credential through the Department of Labor. Students will be able to sit for the state certification exam and submit their LNA license application to the NH Board of Nursing.

Starting Wage: Varies based on the employer, but does include guaranteed pay increases over the course of the apprenticeship.
