FILLED: CNC Machinist Apprenticeship

CNC Machinist Apprenticeship

Employer: Spraying Systems, Merrimack

Length of Apprenticeship: four years, including 1,120 hours of classroom instruction at Nashua Community College. Apprentices who complete this program will earn a Machine Tool Technology/CNC Programming Certificate (40 credits) from Nashua Community College.

Classes start:  N/A – FILLED

Position Summary: CNC Machinists have a wide range of responsibilities including the set-up and operation of any number of machines in the center.  Machinists are responsible for the learning of setting-up and operating of many different CNC machines including: milling, drilling, deburring, hand lathes and parts washing equipment, testing equipment, and EDM machines.

Starting Wage: $13.06 per hour with guaranteed pay increases.   At the completion of the program, apprentices will be paid $17.86 per hour.
